The Mutapola project in protecting and promoting the rights of women and girls in the context of HIV/AIDS in Cameroon has implemented its Privacy Policy in order to protect the privacy of your information.

The project will never willfully sell, trade, rent or otherwise transmit any personal identifiable information about you to any third party without first receiving your permission in writing or in other forms.

Any discussion, agreement, information or other communication between you and The project in protecting and promoting women’s rights with focus on HIV/AIDS is solely between you and the Project.

We follow all state and ethical guidelines pertaining to patient / caregiver confidentiality. Please be assured that your information is safe with us. Mutapola news, pictures, interviews and publications will however be disclosed as a way of making women voices heard. The information provided in line with the Mutapola project will be used only for research and campaign purposes, to advocate for a greater role of the state and other actors in the fight against HIV/AIDS in care giving activities as well as compensation for the time that you (women) spend on the affected and infected HIV/AIDS persons and secure livelihood.

Any information submitted may be shared with other international organizations also involved in the ‘Mutapola’ campaign on a comprehensive basis, but will not provide such organizations with any information regarding the identity of an individual caregiver. When we contact you, our discussion and or questions will require you to give us contact information (like your name, address and phone number) or graphic information on care giving activities. We will use this data to tailor your experience and situation at our website to make your voice heard by stakeholders both at national and international levels. It will also be used to advocate for a greater role of the state in self-reliant care activities as well as compensation for the time that women spend in care activities in the framework of HIV / AIDS.
